Hi, I am Hillary Roby
I am a Christ follower, wife and mother. I have a deep need to help others and bring them encouragement!
My husband and I are true small town Montanas who now live in the seventh largest city in the USA. To say we have been struggled is an understatement. We have learned that if you try hard enough you can always find the blessing in the silver lining and if there is a will there is a way! ….yeah we are those annoying redneck neighbors!
I live clean and try to raise/gather as much of our own food as I can. Teaching our kids all along the way. I guess we would be considered “Urban Homesteaders”. The journey is not easy and has showed me a lot about the struggles people in big cities face.
Most importantly is how to keep the faith through it all!

What we as a family do for fun!
I think it is sad that having fun as a family does not hold a lot of importance. When we as a family get our minds off of the daily routines and list of things needing to get done, an amazing thing happens. Our eyes are opened to see each other more clear and our inspiration/enthusiasm for life and goals as a family are through the roof. Here are a few things we do as a family on the weekends for sweet relief.
- Water fun (river, floating, fishing)
- Dirt biking and biking (trials events and moto track)
- Camping or hiking
- Short of long road trips
